Fall Caching at Bellevue State Park

Last week I was doing some early morning caching at Bellevue State Park. It was a crisp, clear morning to tackle the two caches that currently live there, GC37E6 and GC2FZRF. I parked my car, checked the GPS, and followed the gravel path onto the walking track. I stepped onto the sandy surface of the track and stopped dead. For those who are unfamiliar, the mile long exercise track rings a small pond, several pavilions, park benches, picnic benches, a few volleyball courts, and part of a disc-golf course.
I stood there and stared at the pond as the sun rose slowly behind me. It did not appear to be water. Not even the faintest wisp of a breeze stirred the leaves on the trees or disturbed the surface of the pond. It looked as if a celestial hand had formed a perfect sheet of mirrored glass from the cool water. I always cache with my camera so I will stop my feeble attempts at description and simply let the pictures speak for themselves...
